Developer Background:

Broccolini, with a history spanning 70 years, embarked on its journey when founder Donato Broccolini constructed single-family homes in Montreal. Over time, the company evolved, shifting its focus to industrial and commercial construction in the late 1970s. The involvement of Donato's sons — John, Joseph, and Paul — in the 1980s marked a turning point, leading to the company's acquisition of sites for its own development projects. The company's third generation, represented by Anthony, has played a vital role in expanding the company's presence to around 330 employees. Broccolini extended its reach beyond Montreal to Ottawa in 2004 and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in 2009. The company's portfolio includes the construction of nearly 2.5 million square feet of office space in Ottawa, catering to clients such as the federal government and Telus. In the GTA, Broccolini has contributed to notable projects including the Canadian Tire distribution center in Bolton, Capital Developments' 150 Redpath and 155 Redpath condominiums, Saks Fifth Avenue at CF Sherway Gardens, several WeWork locations, and a Mountain Equipment Co-op store on Queen Street West. It has also undertaken the renovation of the Erin Mills Town Centre.
